I do have to pat myself on the back for getting Jason's Father's day present days before instead of the day before. Of course, I always have to rack my brain for a good gift. I think I did pretty good for the first time. It wasn't the typical cologne and tie gift. Although, I guess I wouldn't have had to buy him anything since I did just give him a child to make him a father. Oh well.

"Is this from my girl?"

Notice the books in the box. Since the hat was so light, I thought I would add some weight to throw him off. Well, he had found the box under my side of the bed and had already felt that it was pretty light. So my idea didn't really work.

I also got him a new western shirt. It has been ages since I've bought him a really nice shirt. It took me a while to look at everything the store had and I took a risk with a bright green and blue check, which he actually liked. Thank goodness!
Jason was too anxious for his gifts so he opened them Saturday night, hence the pajamas. Sunday also turned out to be a treat. We went to lunch with our friends John and Theresa. We were also pleasantly surprised to get a phone call from our long lost friends, Ron and Faith. Ron was trying to get us to come to lunch in Meeteetse, but we had already ordered our meals. So they drove up to join us. After lunch, we of course needed some Dairy Queen. It was such a beautiful day, we went to park.

Faith plays with her 2 yr old, Caleb. He is so much fun. It was a special day and a great way to celebrate dads.
