Princess Katelyn

Imagine walking through the front door of church Sunday morning, to find the greeter wearing a plastic tiara. Kind of a shocker, but you smile anyways. This happened to us the second Sunday of April. At the end of service, we had a potluck and sat with Becka, the tiara wearing greeter. I asked if Katelyn could try out her tiara. She later gave it to her because she was so cute with it.

A couple days later, Micah Henson came over and tried out the crown.

Easter Dress and 11 Month photos

Here's our 11 month photo with our shrinking horse. I can't believe that in 3 or so weeks, my baby will be 1!

Posing with daddy in our new Easter dress.

Playing with mommy's necklace. Look at those lashes!

I told Jason that this is a picture of our possible future. She looks so grown up and yet she's so small. I have to say that I am truly blessed with this little girl. She is my joy!

Facial Recipe

This may be a new one to try, but Katelyn has discovered a new facial recipe. Not like she needs it with that beautiful skin, but nevertheless this is a somewhat common occurance at our breakfast table.

Here is the recipe:
Make toast in toaster
Slather with jam or jelly, whatever you prefer
Cut into bite size pieces and squeeze them between your fingers
Put pieces in your mouth using the palm of your hand
Touch jelly covered fingers on face
Rub your eyes if you need to
If you feel the need to run your fingers through your hair, don't hesitate.
Let jam sit on skin until all your toast is gone.

This is the end result:

They finally popped through Good Friday!

TEETH!

We have TEETH! At least the tops of the bottom two teeth have finally cut through after weeks of seeing the teeth beneath the gums. There goes my gummy smile.

Animal Lover

We have an animal loving child and she comes by it a honestly. Having Tucker around since she's been born, she's gotten used to having and seeing him around. Any time she hears a dog bark, the index finger extends and she looks at me, "dough, dough". In the morning, you pick her up and she whispers "dough" and looks for her dog. Although right now, everything is "dough" or "da", but we like our animals.

Little Cook

Daddy thought she needed some "new" toys to play with. Somehow my kitchen "tools" become toys. This did keep her occupied for 5 mins and she was too cute. One day she'll be helping me in the kitchen.
