Memorial Weekend

Our Long weekend, as we Canadians call them, was pretty laid back. No place to really be, no parties to attend so we stayed close to home. Monday we did venture out with Jason's cousin Jessica, who just moved to Cody. A day of driving and fishing is what they wanted to attempt. We packed up the car with food and poles and headed out to find a place to fish. While they fished, Katelyn and I explored closer to the car.

I found some brand new brown/pink Teva shoe/sandals at a second hand store just in time. Brand new, $35 I found them for $14! I felt pretty good about that splurge.

We went down to the water and looked at rocks with Daddy. Then he showed her how to throw them in the water and that was a big hit with her. So tired!
And yes, they did catch some fish, so it was a good day.
